

When she is not writing she loves to play Final Fantasy and travel to wherever her mind will take her. As an animal lover, she brakes for animals from the smallest such as a mouse and the largest such as a deer. She would later move to London, England, and attend Middlesex University from where she got a Master of Arts in Creative Writing. She got She grew up in Cambridge, Minnesota, and went to Ithaca College, in New York from where she got her Bachelors in Business Studies. She loves to joke that she was brought to the states when she was seven months with a cryptic instruction: “Feed her chocolate”.

Kendare Blake was born in Seoul, South Korea, before she was adopted by white American parents and brought to the United States while still an infant. Most of her literary choices have to do with her adventurous nature, as she is a person who enjoys living to the full. She reads philosophy, fiction, bad, and good books as she asserts that she takes the best from any type of literature and uses it to write her novels. She is not one to be too fussy about the type of literature she reads. Her debut novel was the 2011 titled “Anna Dressed in Blood” that went on to achieve critical acclaim and much popularity among fantasy and horror fiction lovers. Her novels include the horror/fantasy “The Anna Dressed in Blood” duology, “The Goddess War” Trilogy, and the contemporary “Sleepwalk Society”. Kiernan as some of her biggest influences. Blake has always loved to write and cites the works of the likes of Richard Linklater, Bret Easton, and Caitlin R.
